The World Moves On. So Should You.
It’s been 1,176 days since Queen Elizabeth passed away.
One of the most recognized humans on the planet.
~ Her face on currencies.
~ Her name in every newspaper.
~ Her influence stamped into a century of history.
And yet… chances are you didn’t think about her today, yesterday, or even last week.
Most of us didn’t.
Life moved on. Quietly. Effortlessly.
Now of course there’s the irony of it all…
Here I am, writing this whole email about how no one thinks about her… while writing about her!
Yeah. I get the contradiction.
But that’s exactly the point.
Even the people who seem unforgettable… fade.
If Even Royalty Fades… Why Are You Afraid of Being Judged?
It’s wild to realize that someone at the very top of global influence can slip quietly out of the daily thoughts of billions, in just a matter of months.
So it begs the question:
Why are you so terrified of what strangers think of you?
Why are you delaying your dreams because someone
~ who won’t think about you tomorrow,
~ who won’t remember you next month,
~ and who probably isn’t even thinking about you right now
might judge you?
And it’s not just strangers.
Let’s be real here:
Sometimes the most limiting people are family.
Not out of malice.
But out of fear.
Fear projected onto you.
Fear disguised as “be realistic.”
Fear dressed up as “I just want what’s best for you.”
But they don’t have to live your life.
You do.
What Actually Survives?
Not their doubts.
Not their criticism.
Not their whispers behind your back.
None of that sticks.
But your life?
Your choices?
Your voice?
Your potential?
Your regret if you ignore it?
That stays.
That becomes the story you carry… not the one they tell.

Breaking the Cycle: Practical Advice
1. Limit mental access
Stop rehearsing conversations with people who drain you.
You don’t owe anyone a front-row seat in your mind.
2. Reduce proximity to fear-based advice
If someone has never lived the life you want, don’t take their roadmap seriously.
Yes… even if it’s family.
3. Ask yourself: “Will this matter in 5 years?”
Most of what scares you now won’t even make the highlight reel.
4. Practice small acts of rebellion
Post the thing. Apply for the job. Start the project.
Build the muscle of acting despite opinions.
5. Surround yourself with people who expand you
Not the ones who cage you with their limitations.
My Message To You
You’re not here to live a life that keeps everyone else comfortable.
You’re not here to shrink for people who don’t have to carry your dreams.
You’re not here to impress the world, you’re here to experience it!
The world forgets… but you never will.
So live boldly.
Live honestly.
Live loudly.
And when your story ends…
let it be your story, not anyone else’s ;)
Your #1 fan,
Sebastian
