This Email Is Not For Everybody

I’ll warn you upfront, this message isn’t for everyone!

It’s not for the balanced, the comfortable, the ones who need permission before moving.
It’s for the obsessed.
The restless.
The people who feel like something inside them is pulling their soul forward… and won’t shut up.

If that’s you, keep reading.
If not, close this email. No hard feelings.

This Quote Changed My Life

“If you’re gonna try, go all the way. Otherwise, don’t even start.”

This is from a poem by Charles Bukowski called Roll the Dice.
Every time I read it, it stops me cold.
It’s one of those pieces of writing that makes you question whether you’re really living the way you say you are.
And it hits because he’s not romanticizing the struggle. He’s telling you the truth.
Going all the way will cost you everything.
People might leave. You’ll lose things you thought you needed.
You might feel alone, misunderstood, even a little insane.

But that’s the test.
It’s not about suffering for the sake of it. It’s about discovering what you’re really made of when everything comfortable gets stripped away.

I think everyone reaches a point where they have to choose:
play it safe and stay predictable,
or roll the dice and find out what’s actually possible.

I’ve felt that crossroads more times than I’d like to admit.
It’s not glamorous. It’s terrifying.
But every time I’ve gone all in… every time I’ve risked looking foolish, losing comfort, or starting over, it’s led me somewhere real.

Because there’s something sacred about committing fully.
When you stop hedging your bets, life stops being a game of probability and starts being a test of purpose.
You either burn out or you burn bright — but at least you burn for something.

A Message From Goggins

“If you wanna be great… if you wanna be the baddest motherf**ker ever at what you do, you’re gonna be misunderstood by everybody… because you’re gonna be so f**king obsessed and so driven to get there, that’s what it takes.“

It’s harsh, but painfully accurate. If you truly want to reach the edge of your potential, see how far you can go — then here’s the rough truth.

You will stand alone.
People won’t get it.
They’ll question you.
They’ll misunderstand you.
They’ll call you extreme, unhealthy, weird, delusional.

That’s how you know you’re on the right track.

Greatness has never been a team sport.
It demands sacrifice.
Sometimes this may mean losing people, losing comfort, losing the illusion of balance.
It means walking through seasons where you feel isolated & alone…
then realizing isolation is the gift.

Because that’s where the real work gets done.
In the quiet.
At the edge.
Where most people refuse to go.

Bukowski warned:
It can mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives, jobs… It can mean mockery. Derision. Even isolation.”

He wasn’t being dramatic.
He was telling the truth nobody wants to hear:
If you want an extraordinary life,
you have to take extraordinary measures.

You will be misunderstood.
You will be questioned.
You will be judged.

And when you finally reach that point where people don’t “get” you anymore?
That’s when you’ve arrived.

If you’re going to try… go all the way. Because halfway never changed a life.
